Mr. Tony DeMartino, owner of the Blue Line Grill contacted the Historical Society regarding the history and photos of the building. The building was erected circa 1941, and called the Federal Supply Store.

Later, the name was changed to the Champion Store. It was a company store for the Pittsburgh Coal Co. Montour No. 10 miners and was designed as one of the first mall stores. It had grocery, furniture, clothing and appliance departments. In addition, there was a restaurant, and a gas and service station. The huge basement served as a warehouse and distributor for 57 other company stores.

The popular Blue Line Grill restaurant is located in the Champion Plaza on Brownsville Road in the Library section of South Park.
